Just last night I had completed season 1 of the game "Zombies, Run!", that means I had ran 35 times in the month or so, that's 6 runs a week for the last 5 weeks. And according to the statistics on the site it seems I had run just over 100 km! Although when I said run, I meant brisk walking most of the time with a some jogging and sprinting thrown in.
This is my recent standard route now, it is about 4.8 km and I can do it in about 40 minutes. After doing this route for quite a while now the route seems shorter than it used to be, the stair seems easier to climb and the slop seems shorted to get down, I guess theses exercises really did help.
What the app does, is it play a section of a story to you, followed by a song, then repeat until it made up to about 30 mins. Usually it ends at about 27 mins. What it also does is that as an option it will tell you there's a zombie on your tail and you need to run about 20% faster for about 30 seconds. I tried having the zombies chase option on but I end up losing so I stopped.

This app is not free through, but getting a bit healthy is priceless aye?
I am getting to season 2 and will be buying the season with all the side quests as well. There are about 30 of them so it can keep me entertained and motivated for another month or so.
Next entry, the gears for jogging.
